ABOUT CAMP TAHQUITZ
Since opening in 1925, Camp Tahquitz has served thousands of youth from greater Long Beach, Southern California, and several western United States, by making available the finest possible camping experience in an incomparable setting.
Operating for more than 100 years, today Camp Tahquitz continues to be a haven for youth to discover outdoor adventures. Making Memories since 1925!
Programs
We have dozens of program areas and activities for you to engage in. Go for a swim in the mountain air, row a boat and paddle a canoe on our lake, ride a zip line through the forest, hike trails through our one-square-mile camp, and go backpacking in the adjacent San Gorgonio Wilderness, including the highest peak in Southern California.

We specialize in the outdoors. Camp with us year-round, and camp with us for the summer! We have a dedicated week for youth with special needs.
Merit Badges
We offer a wide selection of merit badges for Scouts. The selection of badges are ever-evolving depending on time of year and counselors on site. Keep an eye out for the next opportunity to earn a badge at Camp Tahquitz.
